To the west, the majestic Andes crown the South American continent at almost 7,000 metres asl. To the north we have Iguaçú, the most beautiful natural waterfalls in the world. To the south lies the city of Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, which straddles the famous Beagle Channel. Just beyond, lies Drake Passage, gateway to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica, another mythical place for naturalist adventurers.
